In 1993, Jean-Marc Levac operates a small agricultural business in St-Isidore, Ontario, but he sees far ahead and he’s got guts. He decides to expand his activities to specialize in the retail of propane gas distribution. « Propane Levac Propane inc. » was then founded.
A first truck is purchased to deliver propane in the local area. Customers are more than satisfied with the personalized service offered. The word spreads rapidly in the region resulting in an immediate success. At the end of its first year, Propane Levac inc supplied over 450 customers.
The company from then on, enjoys a remarkable expansion. Delivering to over 19,000 customers, the company now operates with 75 full-time employees that continue to offer the same good service. While the head office is still located in St-Isidore, two other distribution centers were created, one in Perth in 2001, and the other in Kingston in May 2007.
